could i hold a car wash in order to open a daycare?

i want to open a daycare but I have no money and I can not find any government funding to help me out. If I were to hold a car wash in my front yard every now and then could I use that money to help me out with the daycare. I currently do not work. I live in Ontario Canada.
i have my early childhood education and im looking to open a private home daycare.

its a nice idea that you will hold a car wash to help finance your daycare business.but i know somewhere you can find some thing that can help you with your fundings. go to the local office of children's welfare.

go to this website for more help. they offer a free mini course that will teach you how to start your daycare-from licensing to getting clients to getting government funds.

good luck

Running a daycare is a business and you should be trained and/or have experience working with children and have business skills. (Working with your own children does not count.)

If you don't have the start up funds then you should look into a small business loan if you already have some Early Childhood Education training. You'll also need money to get licensed as your provincial law requires. There are legal contracts that need to be drawn up that cover you and insurance as well.

A lot of things can go wrong - from food poisoning to accidental ingestion of Drano (the child died) to parents insisting you're abusive so they can get out of paying their bill. It's really complicated and I've witnessed worse than what I've mentioned. I don't think car wash money would even begin to scratch the surface. Sorry.
